Fee Schedule for Mobile Notary Services

The State of Texas Government Code Ann. § 406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public may charge for notary public services.

Mobile Notary Services:

  1. Standard Notarization: including acknowledgements, jurats, etc.)

    • Per Certificate/Seal: $10

    • Additional signatures: $1.00

    • Travel Fee (within 10 miles): Free

    • Travel Fee (10-15 miles): $25

    • Travel Fee (15+ miles): Please contact for a quote.

  2. Depositions and Witnessing Services:

    • Administering Oaths/Swearing a witness: $10 per certificate/oath

    • Printed Copies: $1.00 per-page

    • Taking Deposition per 100 words: $1

    • Any other acts not mentioned above relating to deposition: $10 per act.

  3. Legal Obligations (Affidavits, Power of Attorney, etc.):

    • Per Certificate/Seal: $10

    • Travel Fee: As per standard notarization rates.

    • All other notarial acts not mentioned: $10

Certified Copies:

Certified Copies of all records and papers in the notary public's office, per page: $1

Certified copy (copies not included, must be made by the notary):   $8 per certificate.

Uncertified copy of an entry from a notary's record book per page:      $0.50

Additional Location Charges

(When scheduling, please specify the number of notarial acts required. We offer group discounts for more than four notarial certificates.)

Hospitals/nursing homes (30minutes): $30

Jails/ Detention Centers (1 hour): $75

Fees for Excessive Wait time (per hour) if more than 30 minutes at a location: $ 40 + 10per hour after initial fee

Protest Fees:

Protesting a bill or note for non-acceptance or non-payment, register and seal: $4

Each Notice of protest: $1

Protesting in all other cases: $4

Certificate & Seal to protest: $4

Additional Information: Business hours: Monday -Friday 8am -5pm Saturdays 9am-2pm

  • Priority Services: Additional $5 fee for services required within two hours within business hours.

  • Cancellations: Please inform us at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid a $10 cancellation fee.

  • Emergency services:  (Payment upfront for Late night emergency services)

    *After hours 5pm to 10pm, 7am to 8am, & Saturday (before 9am-after 2pm):       $20

    *Late night or emergency (Mon-Sat) 10pm to 7am, & All-day Sundays:        $50
